do you think itll last?

so i started my 81 up yesterday and it sounded like i had a valve tick... no big deal so i adjusted the valves and still got the sound... so thinkin i got some stickin i put some marvels mystery oil in the tank and the oil n ran it for a while... still tickin.... it got dark out n i noticed the front two cylinders on the header were glowin red but the back two werent... dont got the time or money to rebuild it befor this trip cuz im thinkin rod knock? so ill throw some 90w in it n hope for the best hahahaha what do you guys think?  o ya and the motors got about 3 years of trips on it... i got the 22r off pirate for $140... iv ran the truck pretty hard, jumped it, rolled it, swamped it, redlined it n it just wont go haha me bein me i wont rebuild it til it actually breaks... i no thats bad  gotta love these things tho

I wouldn't run 90 weight in it, I'd run a straight 50 or 60 redline and

hahaha make that 2 trips  last minute snow wheelin tomorrow... got a call  from a buddy goin up towards george town tomorrow    wish me luck

one trip down haha me n my buddys runner are the only ones that didnt get stuck or break somethin... the snow was fun tho and the truck actually ran great but still makin noise.... come on lil 22r one more trip

just realized i got a hole the size of a quarter in my lower radiator hose... dont no when it happend but no wonder she seemed a little hot at the end of the day hahahaha

So three trips with hardly any coolant?  Awesome.  Yeah, it probably does need a rebuild by now...  But try fixing that and maybe the problems will go away.  Might get lucky...

naw only last like ten min of the last trip it had no coolant... fixed the hose but the radiators leakin now haha come on baby one more weekend

haha for sure and if anything does go wrong ill make sure theres plenty of beer to make it all ok
