The exhaust in the 83 now came from the 84 i stripped, since I bought the magnaflow I wanted to use it and I realy like the tone a lot more it's deeper smoother and quieter until abuot 5 grand then it starts kickin. it's 2 1/4" from the header to the cat and 2 1/2" from the cat back. After putting in the 2 1/2" and a little more fiddling with the carb the little 22r rev's to redline almost immediatly and pulls realy hard and smooth all the way through to redline.

I also wired in a kill swich last night it kicks ass I hope it will be another barrier against theft.

Here's a better shot

Nice BOB job, the grinder I think makes the best cut.

MidgetMike

No doubt about that die grinders make sweet straight cuts, I tried a sawzall on my first bed bob and it made it near impossible. Nice job on the runner she is turning into quite the sexy beast  :beerchug:

Got my bender today and bent some 1 1/2" schedule 80 no problem with the 1 1/4" die. The die is about 1/16 of an inch smaller than the tube so it didn't flaten it and it deosn't kink it if you use the #4 hole in the bender. i think this bender will work pretty good as logd as I use tubing a little bigger than the die and use the right hole for the rollers. I'll find out how it really works this weekend when I make my rear bumper. Tin Benders instructions on pipe bending on Pirate are awsome and realy simple i highly recomend them for anybody wanting to bend tube for the first time. I know schedule 80 is over kill but it was free :beerchug:

Skinny_Pedal

so your using a pipe bender to bend tube?
Im an OG

MidgetMike

Yeah that is why I had 1 1/2" tube in the 1 1/4" die it works realy well surprisingly, I had to find a bender with deep dies so that it didn't flatten the tube when you bent it. :beerchug:

if you are bending sch. 80 with that bender then you are using the right stuff. pipe will bend awesome in that bender. don't try tube or it will just ruin it. that is a pipe bender not a tubing bender...
