Yeah usually when people say things like "I think all the parts are there" it usually means I got giddy, opened the box and started playing with stuf, and am pretty sure everything didn't get back in the box. :hammerhead:

Beware, stuff may be missing if the package (heat shrink is opened).

I once bought a master install kit for a Dana 70U direct from Precision Gear. They do not securely attach the bearings to the cardboard before heat shrinking it. The kit was packed in a box (standing on it's end) containing a boxed 4.56:1 ring and pinion and a Powerlock diff. Needless to say the bearings came loose and munched the oil slinger ring and shims. A pinion bearing had a damaged roller bearing cage as well.

The owner of the company replaced the goods, assuring me it was only cosmetic blemishes, when I objected to his advise to fix the items damaged in shipment. I told him we paid for new parts and the freight, accepting damage merchandise was inappropriate.
