has anyone on here swapped a  1996 cherokee inline six motor into a 1992 cherokee , if u have any info please help
never once have i ever wanted to see the reduce speed ahead sign so bad

Both are HO 4.0's there shouldn't be anything to swap. Pull motor from one, stab it into the other, use all the emissions/electronics equipment in the original vehicle. Flex plates are the same.....easy-peasy.....

ok thanks man. this is for a friend and someone told him the intakes are different

Intake shouldn't change until '99......and if you've got the '99-plus intake, use it, it's good for a little extra grunt.

sum intakes are diff..... where the steering pump bolts on....
