You guys know that the Kingsburg 4WD club is doing it's 31st annual snowrun that day up in Kings Canyon NP?

The few times I went to that Kingsburg run the Law was thick as molasses up there checking registration, vehicle safety, mud flaps, open containers, one guy even got hassled pretty heavy because he had his wife's purse in the rig.... His wife was riding with another couple for awhile and they were ahead of him a few rigs so she did not know that was happening. The hassle was so bad tempers flared and he almost got arrested? No Thanks! Bald Mountain is a free run.... Kingsburg is a GREAT club! I guess that's just some of the hoops they have to deal with in a Natl Park.

I like the idea of free and no law enforcement.  No need to Rodney King people for no reason.  We just want to 4x4 some, eat and talk some smack here and there!!

You know i have to agree 100% about the angry COPS on the trail. There was alot of harassment last year during the run.

I love camping up there, but in the snow  call me a sissy!!! bbq is good enough for me!!!

Hey guys, I would like to get out and meet some new wheelers in my area. I live in Prather and although my samurai has a couple bad u-joints right now, I'd love to go on a snow run. Is there anybody that has an open seat that I could jump in and ride with? If not it's cool.

We are skipping out on the DUI patrol known as the "Kingsburg 4wd club snow run". Bald Mountain 4TW.  Should be my runner plus 2 or 3 other trucks joining on the 6th. We are going to also try to make it up on the 27th.

Sounds like a good group is heading up.  This will be a great gathering of all sorts of rigs.  Food and fun.  I will bring a BBQ and charcoal.  March 6 will be awesome and lets hope for a good sunny warm day up there.  Any fullsize trucks heading up??
