new member with 81

well hello my name is michael i live here i fresno ca i own a 1981 toyota 4x4 long bed sr5 with a flat bed and no suspension upgrades yet :thumbdown:i was driving around on it for a while until on day it decided to break a tooth on the timing gear and boom bang aluminum chunks everwhere so instead of putting a new timing kit on a 340,000 mile engine i decided it was time for a new motor so it all started with a 22rte block my buddy had which now apparently is cracked after searching and collecting parts i finally am getting close to putting it all together 22rte i had to ditch the tranny because 2nd gear synchro and 4 gear synchro were shot funny how just those 2 were huh?oh and the tranny was full of water from the person i bought it off of well any way alot of talk from me so ill shut up
