Used Front Range OffRoad's kit and installed Tundra brakes with the late231mm calipers.
So now the front brakes should more closely match the rear.
Will be selling the 15" tire/wheel combo and going to 17" stuff.

One step forward two steps back.

THATS GORGEOUS! should work much better.

Started on the air cleaner, it will seal to the underside of the hood scoop with fire resistant foam.

Bolted to the rocker cover, hope it can handle the vibs.

Nice! Looks like Christmas came a little early! What ratio did you say your running in your difs? Where did you find the sheet plastic, I could use some myself.. Did you get it preformed or did you heat it up or something to get that curvature?

I am installing 5.29s gear sets.
The plastic i get from work, as well as punch pressing and roll forming we do vacuum forming.
I heat it up with a hand held gun and formed it with my gloved hands.

Rear third set up with Detroit.

Great build! Brakes and 3rd look fantastic! I recently decided to make the 15" to 17" wheel change, and am very happy I did. What wheels and tires do you have in mind?

The Front Range Kit was actually for use with the Tacoma rotors. i chose to go with the Tundra rotors and upgraded calipers.

I couldn't remember, and you follow the install as u would for taco stuff, only with tundra stuff? do you still have to mill/grind the hub body to fit the rotor hat over it? what year tundra stuff is the larger ones?

I still lathed off the hub unit to fit the rotors i got, but you might just check the actual size of the rotors you get before machining yours.
Toyota changed Tundra caliper castings from the early 13WE @199MM to the late 13WL @231MM, from what i have read this took place in 05, i believe the rotors have remained the same.
I went with 07s because that's what wrecker near me had.

The early calipers 13WE were changed to the later 13WL to solve a brake issue the early Tundra's had.
I have heard of folks using the early calipers for their upgrade with no problems, probably because they are that much larger, but i wanted the largest brakes available.

Not much of anything done to the 60 over the past few months so last week my son and i tried to make at least some progress.
Pulled the front fenders back off.
Had to install pass side inner fender and
to make it easier to replace drivers side motor mount and time the injection pump.
