Nothing done for a while on the 60, been working around the home and on my mini truck.
As for boost on the 3B, somewhere about 15 psi, maybe a few LBS more after a intercooler.

canadian bum

Just be careful with the precups they are prone to cracking on these engines. But there are a couple of guys running boost as high as what you want.

Good news is you will be able to fit a large intercooler very easily with the 4 cylinder. No intercoolers for my 6 cylinders just not enough room under the hood of my 40s.

Been to busy to do anything on the 60 but i picked up a few things, 3.05 Tcase gearset with 8% reduction in hi range.
And i have been thinking of doing a blower and a turbo so i got a Eaton M90 off Ebay.
Have been making an adapter at work incorporating the bypass while necking down to a 3" round outlet.

baxter650

Finally pulled the drivetrain to install the ToyBox and gear set.
Once together went to work on twinsticks.
Made up a pulley to drive the blower.

nice work!!  i sure wish i had money for a toybox!

No where near, as a matter of fact i swapped it for the smaller Eaton M62.
The Eaton M90 snout is just too long to easily mount.

THK Matt

do you have to make a custom intake manifold?

No, just mounting, from there it will be plumbed just like a turbo into the stock intake.

THK Matt

oh i wasnt sure how the mounted... if they replaced the intake manifold or not

Fabbing up blower mounting on a spare 3B diesel.

Put it off to the side, didn't want anything sticking through the hood.

Dooner

Hey thats pretty sweet! Cant see the whole intake manifold, Is there a port of some kind for the compressed air from the blower to be introduced, or do you have to mill one?..

The square hole is the pressure side of the blower, i have to make an adapter that bolts on over the hole and transition to 2.5"' tube.
These Eaton blowers are different from say a 671 type in that the intake is at the back of the blower instead of on top.
I have mounted the blower upside down.

looking GOOD.  Very interested to know how that blower works on the lower end of the RPMs.

baxter650

What i am aiming for is 4 or 5 pounds right off of idle and a max of about 12 at 3200 RPM.

fj-rankenstein

i have a spare trd supercharger for a 3.4 litre v6...  geez, this gives me ideas..   good work by the way...   nice to see someone doing something a little different..

Cleaned things up a little, removing weight where i can.
Added top plate incorporating a bypass port.
From the plate i will transition to 2 1/2" round tube.
Made up a tensioner, mounted off the bottom of the alternator.
Nice to have a spare engine to do mock up on.

baxter650

Reworked a throttle body adapter to transition from the blower

Rear door had to be "tweaked"a bit, didn't line up to well with the quarter.
Sliced it open and rewelded it fit.

Capped off the rocker panel

Finished off the window frame, ready for prime/paint.

Interior work finished and painted, coated the floor again but in black.

Awesome looking rig.  Cant wait to see the final product.

Sweet baby Jesus, this rig ROCKS!

Dang man you've been busy! This thing is really coming along

Trans, box, and tcase made it off the bench finally, was running out of room!

A mere 27" of clearance.

baxter650

Got the passenger side flare fitted up, was a bit of a pregnant dog to match up the ends at the door opening.
The flare is made up from two Mini truck units, but a little flexible urethane filler and Bob's you uncle, a nice fit.
Wet sanded the rest of the truck so may paint in a day or so.

And thanks for all the comments guys.

Took out the factory center tach, want a larger after market unit.
Replaced it with an Airpath compass, a little carving and it fit into the tach housing.

Cleaned the other gauges then added a little red around the faces, it should go well with what i have planed.

Also painted the brown dash pad and a few trim pieces, all the stock brown will be gone!

Truck is wet sanded and papered up for paint, hopefully on the weekend.

baxter650

Paint is done, a little dusty but good enough.
