Sun Visor for 79 mini?
« on: May 06, 2003, 11:06:24 AM »
well, i've been pondering this idea for a long time, i dont want my truck to look "cluttered"  but i think a visor to keep that summertime sun out might help.  problem is i cant find one for the 79,  it there that much difference in the shape of the cab, i found one from tyres international, i think its a lund ,  with small lights embedded in the front for a 84 but thats as old as they get :dunno:

Had an idea about that... Maybe you could get some of the snaps they use for vynal bed covers and snap it on?? I think they are cemented on somehow. Not sure if they would be strong enough???

the chrome louvered ones are held on by bolts and screws.  the fiberglass ones like you are thinking of are held on by screws and 3M double sided tape.  It would be a challenge to make a quick disconent but it could be possible good luck!!
