OK so I see a lot of ppl putting V-6 rear ends in minis, so would a old (83) rear end work in a V-6 housing?? and if so are the back brakes on a v_6 housing better than the stock 83 brakes? and would a v-6 housing bolt right in to a 83? any ideas?:dunno:

no problem on that swap it is a bolt on deal.  just secure your load valve to the bed and go for it!
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

they are bigger but better :dunno:, if you really want better brake the only way  to go is disk brake.

yea,,however you will need spacers up front because the rear is wider..unless you like the look of wider in rear..some just upgrade to an 4cyl rear 86 and newer just to have the wider rear and then swap a v6 third into the 4cul housing...you want disks baby!!
Forgiveness is between them and god..
Its my job to arrange the meeting!

ooor..You could do a full-floater conversion at the same time and have discs, and a wider rear end and full-floating rear-end, sweet.
