Rubicon Trail Master Plan
« on: Apr 15, 2003, 06:05:56 PM »
Public Workshop on the Rubicon Trail Master Plan to be held Wednesday April 30th, 2003 from 7-9PM at the Town Hall Downstairs Meeting Room, 549 Main Street Placerville, California 95667  Need more info, contact Vickie Sanders at the El Dorado County Offices (530) 621-5598
This is one set of meetings where the Govt. People involved in the project do listen to us!  If you have any ideas or input to offer, they let you do so.  They are going out of there way to keep us involved.  Anyone with an interest in future Rubicon Access should try to attend.  I was at the last meeting and it was a very informative and well run meeting.....I'll miss this one (MOAB BECKONS), so thought I'd get the word out to as many folks as I could.

I am like so there  ;) :ladysman:

Actually I would love to see a line out the door. That place is too small we need more people to attend.

What the hell.. Someone has actually thought about closing some Moab trails?! I am getting so sick of these tree huggers.

You know at one of the meetings for Panamint that Marlin attended, he made a suggestion that we could relocate the road to avoid the water shed "zone" (I forgot the scientific name) where supposedly we are hurting some bacteria, and a couple of the b|tch environmentalists opposed saying that its illegal to relocate a common road, or some excuse to that extent. WELL HELLO! We just made a suggestion that would preserve the wildlife and they opposed it!! Damn hypocrites!
Also, during the normal flash flooding, many huge rocks were knocked down and took up a number of large older trees. So Im wondering how many large trees our trucks have been able to knock out in a single hit. Hmmm.... how about NONE! Mother Nature is worse to the trail than we are.

pure :pokinit:.
