The Fed-Ex truck delivered one package, our new web cam. Then, as drove out and turned around, he hit it. Non of our stuff got wet. There was water standing in our parking lot that was 6"-12" deep.

He must have hit it hard to take it completely off like that, I bet the bolts are still intact in the base of the hydrant and the ductile fitting on  top of the main is sheared off. How long did it take the city to shut the main off?  its more fun when they break at the main 10' down and the street heaves up 3-4 feet then pops open.

They had the water off in just a few minutes. It took about an hour to change it out and turn the water back on.
