My after market performance engine has a weber 32/36 coversion on it. I am replacing the fuel pump and I noticed the return line is plugged/capped off. I took the cap off and put a hose on it and put it in a jar. Lots of fuel came out. When I put the new fuel pump on I am concerned about capping it again and am wondering if I should run a return line back to the tank. I am wondering if my fuel starvation when pulling long steep grades at full throttle may be related to the diaphragm not being able to flex fully due to the back pressure of having the return port capped of.
Any thoughts on this??
thanks
