My old Jeep has one. It's been in the rear for 7+ years. Not one problem yet.

I personally won't run one in the back again.

I ran a v6 lockright for maybe a year and a half and it finally broke.. and when it broke it took out a tooth on my ring gear.. Plus with the lockright in the back occasionally my truck would hop quite a bit going around really sharp turns at low speeds which got irrating fast..  It would also occasionally unload while driving home from school on windy roads.

lownlinked85

oh damn so no lockright or EZ in the back for me then only  front application but you would definatley run in it the fron correct

Well that is what i have in the front and it isn't an issue.

Don't let me discourage you from getting one.. Im just sharing my experience with them.
I drive my truck pretty hard, and that is most likely why the locker broke in the first place, but from now on i would only put a full detroit, arb, e locker or have a welded rear.

yea i understand what your saying im getting it and putting it in the front i cant argue with the price so ill be happy just getting ppls oppinion on the EZ locker, because like i said ive read as much as i could about them and no one has liked it, but ive only read reviews about ppl who have them on jeeps.  so were the best place to ask about toyota products this great forum thanx for all the input guys and dingman and hope to hear more on this topic appreciate it alot thank you
