im running 35" tires on a 5.4 l V8 f250 i dont know what the proper gearing or what ratio i should be at, i want power and fuel efficiency "better" then what i have. i know the ratio to toyotas but since i have the V8 i'm clueless. thanks for any info.

Id go with 4.56-4.88 if you still want good manners on the freeway and what better power. if you dont care about freeway then 5.13-5.29 would be good or if you just wanna rail 5.71s.

i was thinking 4.56 but i was wondering if 4.88s is better? anyone run 4.88's on there full sizes? thanks

the question i think it is is which will bring it back to stock, i dont want a short first gear, i know when i switched my toyota to 5.29's i had a real short first gear i was wondering if i use 4.56's or 4.88's wich will bring me back to stock or better without a short first gear.

whats the stock size tire and gear ratio? you can do a mat h equation from there for returning it to stock
