My t-case has some play in the rear output flange, thinking it might be the reason for my vibration. Now my question is if I take off the smallest cover on the rear trans case, will that be enough to get at the bearing. Thanks guys!

yep, pull the flange and the 7 bolt cover, and the bearing will pull right off by hand.

Is the play in/out, left/right, up/down. or rotational looseness? That rear bearing alone would have to be just smashed to cause that. your T-case might just need a good ol rebuild.
If you see it, its for sale.
