Right on, hope the toy can hold it's own!

i like this quote “I’m thrilled to have been chosen to be one of the drivers to once again prove the toughness and durability of Toyota vehicles.  I’m sure the Fifth Generation 4Runner will be tough enough to survive even my Iron foot”  :driving:

i'm curious who built and prepped the truck..

This might be old news but has anyone seen that video on youtube of a Toyota Tundra that was chained to the shore at low tide because they wanted to see if it would start after being in the Ocean overnight?  The chain broke, they found the tundra 1km away, pulled it out, changed some fluids and plugs and off it went.  Love it.

This has to do with everyone talking about tough Toyota trucks in this thread.

Yup, that video is :offtopic: & has nothing to do with Desert racing or Ivan Stewart and been reposted to hell on every Toyota offroad forum.

This has to do with everyone talking about tough Toyota trucks in this thread.

I started this thread about Ivan Stewart coming out of retirement to race a section of the Baja 1000 in which he ended up placing 2nd in stock mini.

Back to racing, my buddy also did the 1000 and raced for Lexus, he came in 2nd also in stock full http://pressroom.toyota.com/pr/tms/lexus/joe-bacal-captures-second-with-149275.aspx?ncid=12044
