Hey everyone, we're doing a snow run up to High Lakes on November 20th and 21st. A few of us will be going up and camping Saturday afternoon and the others will be meeting at Jack in the Box in Marysville then heading to High Lakes around 7:30 am Sunday (21st). If you are interested let me know and i'll give you directions.

Plan is to go from Skyway to Humbug, Philbrook to Spring Valley and then shot over to Morris Lake (if the snows not to deep)  we talked to the Forest Service and they said the snows close to 5-6 ft at Campbell which is near Morris and is completely barried. So we'll see how it goes!  Should be alot of fun.  If you'd like to go feel free to e-mail me at:

Hope to see you on the trails.

it was really cold and the snow was like packed ice,

here's some pictures.

this is my buddy Lou's pictures, i didnt really take any because my camera took a dump. We almost got to Morris and found out that half the pack had got lost so we turned around and went back for them, in the process one of the Jeep's with us blew out his rear end, cracked the tranny housing and had a f'd up started which eventually tore his flywheel teeth up so bad it wouldnt start. We limped the rig out and called it a day at about 7:00 pm.  Didnt get home til late, had to stop by Autozone in Paradise and get a oil cap, mine feel off half way therw the trail and blew oil all over the engine so i duct taped a wind washer fluid cap and filled 'er up. Having idle problems right now which im going to figure out once this rain/wind lets up a little.
