Reider Pit Closing!?!

I have just heard that Reider pit in washington is going to be closing soon and may not open!
is this true!?!

Yes it's true. It closes November 2nd. I heard there will be an evaluation in April to reopen

hopefully there are factors that will determine this and all that fun stuff but who knows that will happen should be interesting

yea i hope they dont take 80% away either i love that place its my stomping grounds i live a hour away they ive heard rumors about it opening back up already but i will go up there soon and check it out and let you guys know anyone from Washington by the way

i havent heard much of anything about reiter lately.
im from washington, edmonds area

im from washington, deployed right now, but when i was home in feb. i went to rieter and checked it out. a lot of construction/improvement were going on. from what i could gather, bridges are being built on some trails, bark is being spread in areas, lots of trail maintenace is being done. im hopin it opens by this summer, i live like 25 minutes away from there, it was the most convinient wheelin for me. i know they have been lettin the public put in their ideas and even help out on weekends when they have "work parties" and such.

the salmon need saving i guess. any how, from what my friends have told me is that some of the trails will be shut down (lake isabelle), and others that run up or down a stream, but trails like tights ass, and beat your will re-open. im interested to see just how true that is.
