hey guys

on a 83 pu with a bad master cyl. i have a master out of a 1 ton camper type truck.
will this master bolt up with no problems? it looks exactly the same but the booster is larger.

by the way the master on the truck is the original.

the master on the one ton is 15/16. the master on the 83 is 13/16 thats all the diffrence i can tell.

Change the master and booster at the same time. You'll be rewarded with better brakes for doing it.

Yes, toyota didnt change things like that. The booster from the 83 has a 1" aluminum spacer I think or maybe it was the later model. Anyway it will fit with no real drama.

i put the one ton master on without using the larger booster. the pedal is real stiff. but very good brakes. so i think i'll go back to the junkyard & get the booster and put it on as well.
