I dont know not very many people look at it I don't think. It is pretty sick I just can't wait for it to be wheelin. And thats a killer deal for that set of axles I'd go for it. I am going to put tons under my 89 but keep the toy axles and build the tons on the side.
yeah its a good deal, but i just dont ever see myself needing full width axles. i dont really want anything that wide.  alot of our trails hear in the black hills are very tight, so i dont really want to be any wider than i am now

we need more pix
Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

For sure, I like my toyota axles I just think my truck would look really good and proportional with tons and a nice set of tires. Also it wouldn't limit more than maybe 1 or two trails which im not to concerned with.

And goofster we got the fuel cell in bled the master cyl and the brakes a bunch tonight, seems that the mc is like sucking air somehow. All the brake lines are tight and isn't leaking but makes some wierd noises I think he's going to do a gm swap or something else not to sure yet but I doubt it'll get a stock one. And pictures, there will be plenty when it gets bump stops and the ifs box moved, for not its just little stuff that pictures dont really show lol.

ok so heres an update its been for ever but I have had trucks in and out of the shop and working more than I was so havn't gotten much done untill these last weekend.

I started on moving the ifs box forwards and ran into a million problems because the axle is so far forwards but heres some pictures of what I did to make it
 work.

heres how it was before.

and the work

I just used the plate that was there cut it off on top and used the ifs box mounts to plate over so the front of the frame is super beefy, you can see where I plated in front of the plate so its still strong.

I had to mount the box as flat as posible to clear the tie rod because the drag link is so far forwards these springs are like 29" from centerpin to the center of the front bolt on the hanger and rears or marlin springs are about 24..

so here is the box mount plated and the bottom is all capped.

and since i mounted it so flat and low the steering shaft jpoint hit the frame so i had to  notch it I haven't capped it yet but heres a picture ill post some with the shaft it tomorrow.

and thats without it being cleaned up im going to round the corners a but and plate it.

heres some pictures testing for problems and seeing where we had to set bumps and what not. It was basically its trial run lol.

it rubs but not that bad were going to put the bump stops pretty much at the springs limit of de arch so the spring will be exactly flat and it should rub and still stuff.
Also the one problem we had was the box is mounted so low that the front driver leaf his the bottom of the pitman arm so were getting a flat pitman arm and hooking the drag link up right with miss allignment spacers and safety washers hoping it doesnt it and if it does we were thinking about flipping this pitman arm upside down and knotching the frame if we have to.

and heres some pictures from today just messin around

stuffage

Whats left is finishing plating the frame. I have to fix the breaks still it had a bad MC he got the gm swap kit and I broke the adaptor inside to far that the break line wont start on it. Once thats fixed it will have brakes and should be pretty much done. were making a battery mount for it since he got an oddeysey its huge. also wire up the fuel gauge. fix an exaust leak and new exaust mani gasket. He's going to change all the fluids and i need to weld teh front diff up for him sincei its open still. :welcome:

I wouldnt run anything else with one tons. They look perfect and deff fit proportionatly. They are brand new still so they don't have much flex on the sidewall yet. But over all I mean for being brand new and not showing any buldge they do really well even with an open front end they did good. I like them for sure.

deffinetly tanner. I really want to aswell. I mean I already know that max's truck is a freak of nature because it walked all over those rocks at my house open and it was muddy as :pokinit:. I mean I know he will have to have balls to get threw the entrance of rocky uphill. But he has more diff clearance than I was expecting.
