So when i bought my runner i had no clue that it had an blown engine (like a year ago) so i put a new motor in out of a 94 2wd with 61k. And I had to put a timing chain in it. on saterday of this weekend I went to the auto show and on the way home my charge light came on for less than 10 seconds so i thought nothing of it. then on monday i drove it to school and the engine sunded extremely loud (like a turbo that is going bad). so i made it to school and looked under the truck for any thing weird and all looked fine. then on the way home from school the engine was sounding even louder then the charge light came on untill i flew into my driveway and into the garage. I poped the hood and Before i could open it I smelt power steering fluid burning so i looked at the pump and there was fluid every where and I leaked on the alternator and killed that. then I looked all around and It appears that my oil pan now it leaking in the reat and the crankshaft pully seal is leaking to.

how is your oil pressure??
did you blow a powerstr hose??  a turbo??  hows the exhaust pipe,  is it clamped good behind the turbo??

change your oil filter, then use a hacksaw and cut that oil filter in two and see whats in it

no i don't have a turbo but the engine sounded like a turbo with bad bearings.  :smack: and the seal for the shaft on front of the pump was leaking I think that is where it looked like it was cause all of the hoses looked fine. i already took everything apart so all i need is Oil pan gasket, oil pump seal, oil change, alternator, & a rebuild kit for the pump.  :twocents:

Oh and I guess i have a broken motor mount too.

Your power steering takes ATF, not power steering fluid.  At least my V6 does.

dexron II is the factory fluid.  It has been superseded by dexron III aka auto tranny fluid.
