I did some training at a dealership in Scottsdale AZ and they had one there. They said when it got delivered the truck driver broke a valance off the bottom and it cost $20,000 or so to fix.

That's old.  The new 2009 SSC (Shelby Super Cars) Ultima Aero is faster.  Bugatti claims 253 mph.  SSC claims 270mph!

If you look at all the stats on the two cars the Bugatti is still a better car.  The Bugatti is also all wheel drive.  Get rid of the all wheel drive and weight associated, it would probably kick the SSC arse!  If you look at their website, the SSC averages 254 mph.  That is just barely over what the Bugatti can do consistently at 257 mph.   

Bugatti 4126 pounds
SSC     2750 pounds

Thats 1376 pounds difference.  If the Bugatti weighed less it would definitely be a 270 mph supercar!!  :yesnod:  With less horsepower too!!

Ok I gues it might be better because it is AWD, but the 2009 SSC is supposed to go 270mph from what I read.  The older version does the speed you are talking about.  I think the SSC is a much better looking car too.

I also read that the Bugatti does 153mph and the old SSC  OLD SSC does 255mph.  I guess it all depends on where you get your info.

Bugatti does 253 mph.  Just go to Bugatti's website.

Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

im with you dude, I like the specs that he is saying while driving it.  what is it 10 radiators with 4 turbos.  Covering a football field a second or something like that?  Good stuff.

Yeah, I know I'll never own one.  Heck, even if I had enough money to buy one, I'd go buy a muscle car or a hot rod and invest the rest.  I wouldn't say I'd never ride in one though.  I've already ridden in a few cars I never thought I'd ever get to ride in, but I guess working in the car industry and knowing people with big $ has it's advantages  :greengrin:

you see that Shelby came out w/ the Aero that was 2 mph faster than the Bugatti, now Bugatti has came out with the Veyron super car that has 200 additional HP giving it an amazing 1200 hp!   

the car was estimated to do 248 mph but instead did 268 mph.
