A week ago I picked up this 1982 SR5 Pickup: I already have a bunch of mods planned for this rig.

Here are the stats:

  • 22r with a Weber 38
  • 33x12.50.15s
  • 4" Pro-Comp Springs
  • Rancho 9000x shocks with controller incab (Being replaced with Pro-Comp ES3000s)
  • Detroits F & R
  • 4.88 Gears
  • In-Cab Roll-Cage

Here the mods I have planned:

  • Marlin Trail-Flex Suspension
  • Marlin Front Bumper
  • Marlin Ulitmate Crawler
  • 35s
  • Bobbing the bed

Thanks glad you like the truck. So far most people do. I have been going back and forth in my head about bobbing the bed. I think what I really need to do is get a different bumper in the rear. Like Marlins rear bumper and I should be ok...

ot my pro-comp es 3000's shocks yesterday, Friday I am going to put them on. I know they are not the best shocks, but they got to be better than the Rachos I have that are too short.

Well to continue my build up:

I have now have my Weber 38 rebuilt and a new head for the 22R since the old ended up being toast.

Next up on the list is a new altenator and radiator, then to work on the wiring nightmare from the previous owner.  :smack:
