I need to find a place to live here very soon and I cant afford room for rent here in the bay area anymore.  I have a dog who loves people just wants to heard all other dogs.  Aussie corgy mix.  Shes my kid so where I go she goes.   I would like some where I can also tweak on my rig and what not.   I do smoke but always outside and I tend to keep my areas very clean.  Me on the other hand gets pretty dirty.  Damn that gear oil.  Never seems to go away.  Anyhow let me know if yall know of some where.  I am open to diff places, but prefer to be in norther cali.  Thanks Josh

What kind of job do you have/looking to get?

Have you considered moving out of the state?  Reno's prices are really good right now, both for renting and buying.  Unfortunately I can't offer you a room, but if you head up this way, more than happy to help with the hunt, moving, etc.

:psss:  BTW, you've got almost the same kind of dog I do!  My dog max is a queensland/corgi mix (the long haired dog we had on the trail)

Ya I remember her.  Corgis are pretty stubborn dogs to say the least and when ya mix them with an even more neurotic dog its fun lol

Not sure I could handle the heat in nevada.  I tend to like it colder most of the time.  I am running out of options tho.  I dont work I am on SSDI which is permanent disability so I get the same income no matter where I live.

Honestly, I'd much rather deal with the heat here than in the Sacramento Valley.  I lived in Vacaville and Sac for 8 years, and its much nicer up here IMO.  There's almost always a breeze here, and the temps actually don't get as bad as they do down there.  We had very few 100* days this year.  Even in the summer the temps drop to a quite comfortable level at night.  I don't even have A/C at my house, and after 2 summers here, don't really see a need for it.

I think I've only run the swamp cooler maybe 3 times since about mid july, and that was only for a couple/few hours on the hottest days  :_oops:
