I appreciate that.  It means a lot coming form you.

Just got back from Pullman, WA.  I had a cheese making class I attended there, that the company paid for four of us to go to.  And even though the fields were freshly plowed and planted, I wish I had time to get photos.  But I plan on going back there with the wife one day.  Just to take pictures.  The rolling hills were awesome.  We kept thinking that a sandrail would just rule the hills.  Just endless miles of rolling hills in all directions for hours in any way you went.  I had my camera, but no time to stop and take pictures.  Were on a deadline the whole time.  Here is a link to some pictures I found on the net.  Kyle, you would love the area.

That's the place Kyle.     Even just in the raw dirt that the fields are in now, it was beautiful.  Alot of old barns and old equipment out in the fields.  I'm definitely making a list when I go somewhere.  I just recently "got lost" out in the Hillsboro area recently and found myself out in some old farmland that urban sprawl hasn't gotten to yet.  That would be great to photograph.

Right now, it's hard for me to just stop and get pictures.  I'm usually running behind, or the kids are in cranky mood, which also puts mommy in to cranky mood too!  So, these are things that I have to just take some time and do alone.  But, I've got a long list of things that needs done before I can just go and shoot pictures.

Thanks LB.   I finally was able to get out and shoot pictures the other day.  We've had nothing but torrential downpours lately.  We had like 40 days of straight rain everyday.  Some days we get breaks in the weather, but they were short lived.  I was glad the weather has been starting to let us out of the house.  The first one I had to step down off the trail to get the action of the water.  And I wasn't able to hunker down to get a more level shot.  I did the best I could do.  And try to get the log and fern in the shot.  The second picture, just imagine if you turned the camera around 180*, you'd be looking through a 6" culvert.  I had to freehand a series of that shot.  The stream of water is narrower than a can of pop.  I was just screwing around to see what I could get.

Invest in a circular polarizing filter to make those overcast days worth something.  :twocents:

10 exposures layered and merged for perfect exposure, no shadow or sun washouts. It's called HDR and that is an extreme version. Same process as the Garage shot.
