I'd think the axles are maybe worth $1500, maybe a little more since the rear has discs.  I'd go over and offer him $3000 with the tires, then maybe be prepared to pay $3500, but that all depends on how much work it really needs since people almost always down play it to make a sale.

heck let him keep the tires those things are huge, go offer him 1800 and throw some 33's on it till u can afford better tires. id bet bet my bottom dollar there no smog chek in alaska that would be a sweet little flatfender for 2000 even though its really a 76

WTF why put 33's on 1 ton axles?  Are you that retarded?   Looks like a decent start to me, I'd wheel it once it had a flat fender front clip on it.

Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Well i dont have a bunch of money right now so that was my thought to buy on rollers an pick up some 37's or something. I was able to get a significant amount knocked off the price because those are brand new 39.5 pitbull rockers, they all literally have the stickers on them stll.

I dont know that much about jeeps and about that rear end? is it comparable to a 14b?

The only other thing i would wanna do is high steer and i dont know how difficult that is?

Id like to swap the engine but i dont have time or the place to do that here yet so id have to live with it i guess.
