So here are a few pictures for now and ill keep everybody posted on anything else that i do to it. -Gonzo

Alright so for my first project i wanted to fix the shifters up a bit. The way he had it set up was so he could control the dual seperately. I liked that idea but wanted to make it more official.

Before.

Let me know what you guys think.
Ill be patching up the hole hopefully next weekend so ill post pics of that also.

Alright guys heres a little update on what has been going on. First of all the back end was bothering me not only the way it rode but the way it looked. I didnt like the rake so i  :driving: my truck down to marlins and picked up some shorter u-bolts this is how big the block was that i was removing from the rear.

So as i got the rear axle all hooked back up i noticed that the shocks were way too tall for the amount of travel needed. So i grabbed my old pro-comps blacked them out and replaced them. keep in mind the shocks are just temporary until i find the money to get some bilsteins. Heres a look at what i took off and what i put on and the final look of it all.

Note: I was going through all my suspension and tightening up bolts since it had been a while since i had done it and as i was tightening the last bolt on my front driver hanger i noticed the bolt was stripped. It would no longer tighten but it was loosening more and more. So i went down to the hardware store grabbed a new one and was happy that i caught it early enough.

those rear lower shock tabs sure are thin.

Next on the list is to buy another vehicle or motorcycle  to drive when your truck breaks down.

I am actually saving up for another car to commute in. lets just say that eleven mpg isnt my favorite thing in the world. I plan on beefing up those lower shock tabs as well when i get the time to do so.

they are really too close together i plan on redoing how they mount completely from the axel and to the frame. The was it was set up was a little sketchy to me so i plan to make it a lot better but it just seems like there is just not enough time in the world in order to do what i want. Oh hey does anyone know why my crawl box keeps violently popping into neutral while im just driving down the road? I really need to know why this is doing this because having to pull over on the freeway isnt exactly my favorite activity any help would be greatly appreciated

bad news....called up brenden at marlin and talked with him about my little issue. and he said thats just the nature of the beast. due to the design of it itlll just pop out of gear every now and then....really no way to fix it....unless i replace it which will put me out around 1200 so idk :/
