i noticed that ther are like 5 models of the w56 trans. w56a,w56b ect. so do these all come outa 85-95 4cyl trucks? and how are they different? i have an 79 and an 84 toy both with the G52 trans, the one in the 79 just took a dump and i was planning on replacing it with a w56 but after seeing all the differant models im abit confused.

The A's center plate is aluminum.   The B's is iron.    Otherwise the A's and B's are the same.

(Don't know any details on the rest)
