Well if I just go with stretching the front, it will put me @ 110" I haven't decided if I want to bring the rear forward to keep 107" or not. Finally got the inner shackles made and on so the springs are permanantly mounted. I'll probably remove a leaf since it's looking a little tall right now. We'll see.

They are pretty sweet. They are flat but clear the springs no problem even without rotating the pinion up just yet.

Shoot, @ the rate I'm going, never is looking pretty good.

I did however get a 4.7 case built (about time) and finally got the inner shackles made. Maybe someday soon the temps will rise and I can get a bit o work done after work. Oh, BTW, this is what my weekend was all about, picked it up in Vegas on Saturday and tried to outrun the black cloud the whole way home!  :bud:

A Dodge huh...  I can here that tractor motor from here.  On a more serious note,  check here and make sure you don't have bad seat belts that Chrysler used.  We believe my nephew died because of them.  www.unsafeseatbelts.com

Oh this one you'll hear coming more so than other Dodges what with the 5" turbo back exhaust and the custom HX55 turbo spooling up to 50 PSI. Dad was over yesterday and he said he heard me from my house (3 houses from Palm) all the way until I turned off onto Fruit.  :shocking:

Sorry to hear about your nephew, I will definately look into it.

Just checked them and they appear to be the Gen IVs, flat across the top. Thanks for the heads up though Tim, made me nervous thinking of Hazel's seat being strapped in with a faulty belt.

Decidedc to lower the front a bit so I basically voided the 2" drop hanger. I'll have to rotate the axle a couple more degrees than already planned but I'm already doing some so a little more is no problem. (never mind the slag, had a bit more cutting to do)

Finally built myself a 4.7 23 spline case. It's been sitting complete on the work bench for awhile. Can't wait to slow down a bit more on the trails because sometimes duals just don't cut it.  :driving:

That's about it for now. Hopefully in the next few weeks things will pick up a bit. I've been racing home, doing my "chores" then hitting the garage for a couple of hours for the last couple of nights and it feels great!

Well if Vova's going to set up the father son trip again, I hope to make that. I'll cram the old man into FT #31 and we'l see what it can do.  :rockingout:  Hey did you ever get an extra Aisin hub? I think I still have my spare in the garage some where if ya need it.

Looks good Brendan.  The fullsize crew is gonna make a run down to the Hammers as soon as I get my new doubler in.  Broke the t-case adapter last time down. Should be sometime in  March when we head back. Wrecking ball is calling your name.  :yesnod:

Ken, what's up? You getting bored with all that fullsize stuff so you're coming to the minis for some entertainment?  :haha:
If things go well, I should be 2-3 months before it's wheelable. Next Saturday the drivetrain should be in the new frame, then once I get the new chassis, it's on like Donkey Kong! :_order:   :flamer:   :bud:

Yup. I figured I have a trailer and the few times I make it to the snow I can bundle up. Mike is working on my DOM chassis drilled to hold air. Should be done in a couple of weeks. By my beginning calculations, after the initial cost of the chassis, I might have another $1K into it to have it up and running. I'm going to keep a record because I know most, not all, but most of the other guys are dropping some serious coin on their's but I have a feeling I can build mine pretty solid by reusing most of my truck while still retaining a little eye appeal.  :bling:

Are you following me?   Yeah that pig was on there when I got the truck. I think I've decided I don't much care for it so at some point I'll see if I can find a stock bumper to throw on it. Unfortunately all my cash is wrapped up elsewhere.
