Dang sorry guys, I missed the replys to this. Well the wife now has her Master's in Eraly Child Hood Education   :respect: and I am rockin' it in the garage as much as possible while still spending ample time with my wife and daughter. Getting some great help and with any luck, I'll be wheeling in under 2 months. Anyway, on with the pics.

Alright, got both front tire/wheel combos bolted up. Running the stock Dodge drive flanges broached to 35 spline.

No more jack stands on the front, still need the u-bolts and spring plates though....minor details.  :gap:  John helped me out immensly by showing me how to set up my gears and lockers. ARB is air tight and ready to go and so is the detroit (minus the air part   )

Yeah me too. Buddy is letting me borrow his plasma tomorrow night so I can hopefully get some of the tabs cut out and make some decent progress.

Got the lower tabs, bridge, and crossmember tacked in. Hopefully in the right spot.  :headscratch:   :dunno:   :hahaha:

Vertical seperation in this pic is a bit deceiving, it's right @ 10"

BTW, the 4x on the bridge is temporary, still waiting for the city to clear my engineered truss!      :hahaha:

Those wheels look a lot better on the rig instead of in pieces in the back of the Dodge

Yeah I hope so. Got the old man and my buddy Greg coming over tomorrow and I should have the rear completely tacked in place (John is going to burn in the axle end stuff for me with one of the high end machines he's got @ his shop  ) and then onto the rest finally.

gotrocks

you've got the same drivetrain that I'm doing in my rig.  I've got a 90 thats still under the knife and It has a 350/350 with duals but they don't have any gears in the cases just stock.  What is the width on your axles and what are you going to do for your  steering setup.

freds40

Mine is a fullwidth Dodge axle, 67" IIRC. I am using WFO's behind the axle steering and I'll be throwing on my home brew Hydro assist setup.
"between projects"

freds40

Alright, had a decent day on the truck today. Got the links all tacked in and ready for finish welding. My old man came over and got my last 2 Hummer wheels ready for me to weld in the new centers.
"between projects"

freds40

The offset you see in the pinion is from the offset pinion of a Dana 61, the axle is completely and %100 centered.
"between projects"

freds40

And I was able to get started on the firewall and floor.

freds40

Alright, 4 link is complete minus a few gussetts.

I likes her a whole lot better when she's down on all 4s.  :afro:
