This will be the third time posting it since it has screwed up the last to times posting it.  James rolled his toyota today on the way home from school.  He was going around a turn and there was a bus in the road stopped.  He hit his breaks which sent it skidding and it went on it's lid and it's front bumper.  It crushed the cab in on the top, shattered front and back windows, bent the doors, and broke a motor mount.  That's what we know for now.  We are either gonna tube it or swap a cab.  I got pictures right after it was rolled back over with a dispossible camera so those won't get here for a bit.  But i got pictures of it at his house with my camera.

dang man, that is a sweet rig.. I wonder how that would have looked with an in cab roll cage?

I've been in that same situation in my MR2, but because my MR2 is so great at handling, it covers up mistakes. Can't do that in a pickup.

Hopefull good will come outta this and he will get it back on the road in no time  :driving:

WHITE_TRASH

Aw shizzle, that'll buff out.  Id grab a hi-lift and go to town on it.  Ill bet with an afternoon worth of work you could get the glass back in it easily.  The doors wouldnt be all that hard to fix either.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Man...... If I only had WT's talent then maybe I could have a sweet rig....   :sad2:

We might high lift it just to drive it.  But i don't think the glass will fit back in it even it we make it good.  The door hinges are screwed up.  We had to take 3 bolts out of the drivers side door just so we could pry it open.  All the fluids are good except for the oil in the engine, tranny and t-cases.  There is oil all over the engine compartment.  It's is a really good thing he had a smittybuilt becasue it took all of the hit to the front, didn't even bent or dent.  Nothing touched the hood or any of the lights.  the engine turned over yesterday when we got it home.  but it didn't have any oil so we didn't try to run it.  the suspension is fine and so are the axles.  We might work on it a little today.

WHITE_TRASH

The glass is easy to get back into that body style.  The front glues in so it doesnt have to be anywhere as good as my 81 which had a gasket.  The rear one could be tricky but not impossible.

damm that sucks but I've seen worse. My friend was highmarking in snow and blew this front driverside bead. Rolling his 94. He used a hight lift and a good hammer and fit the factor glass back in it. 2 months down the road and you could not even tell it. :beerchug:

I'm sorry to hear about that man.  I am glad you're okay.  Who's next.  it's gonna be a friend of one of ours.  It was me, then james...now it's either gonna be hyena or 86runner so you two should cages your rigs pretty soon.   :ack:  hopefully not. :shake: im such a heartless person.
in the projects nooga, anything goes

Hyena

We took the shattered windshield out today and high lifted the top of the cab back up.  Put some oil in it and drove it around a little in front wheel drive.  The rear driveline was taken off to tow it home.  The only thing wrong with it is the broken motor mount.  The top of the cab doesn't look that bad.  We beat the crap out of it from the inside to pop it back up also.  No pictures of that yet.

tomarrow we are gonna go for a snow run up the thr rubicon, see if we can make it.  They sopposably stopped plowing it at Uncle Tom's Cabin.  I am gonna run James's 37's for tomarrow.  It looks soo cool with them on my truck.  Hopefully we won't role like TTF said. (Knocking on wood)   :crossed:

Cool, is it the drivers side motor mount?  I don't think they are interchangable between sides.  But we have to set up a date.

Fireimp141

In all reality thats not very bad for a roll  could have done some major damage, but you can get a cheap body easy so... GL and post pics

Here it is.  I also stepped on the left top part so it is flatter.  No windshield, we highlifted the cab back up and beat the top up.  Doesn't look that bad.

Fireimp141

Taint bad  :_order: :_order: :_order:     :_order: :_order: :_order: and you will be done  are you gonna switch cabs or cage it?

last one.  I think we are gonna cut the top off and cage it.  Might weld another top on it.

Fireimp141

That would be kinda cool to have a reg top for like rain and stuff, but the cage the rest of it  would be a site to see
