For Sale Marlin toybox and splitcase
« on: Aug 18, 2009, 09:20:40 AM »
I have Toybox 001 to a splitcase I would like to sell. I bought this about 2 years ago from the original owner. He only had it installed for a very short time. I have it gone through by marlin himself. I also have a splitcase that goes with it that was rebuilt and put together by marlin. Here is a link to it below with pictures of it. Ithas double drilled flanges and a custom twin stick.

This is what you get.

Toybox 2.28 gears with all adaptors to mate to a SM465 and splitcase
Split case rebuilt about two years ago
Custom twin stick
All shifters

This is a very nice unit. I wish I didnt have to change it but I am going to a center rear axle.

$1500 for everything
Toybox alone will cost more with shipping and taxes.

Located in central california.

Goin to go with the Lomax 3:1 205 like you suggested.  Thanks for the heads up on that. Were you running a sm465 with a 10 spline output.  If so did you have any problems with the coupler.

Thanks Again

I was running the TH400 on mine. I've had a couple of buddies running the 465 to Lomax and haven't heard of any problems.

I love my Toybox but with a dana 60 front and 70 rear and 40's I am afraid it wont hold up.  I just picked up a 4:3 atlas yesterday and the toybox is sold.  Got the atlas brand new for the price of a lomax.

IF YOUR LOOKING OUT THE FRONT OF YOUR 4X4 AND YOU CANT SEE THEN JUST TURN ON YOUR WIPERS. BUT THEN THINGS GET ALL MESSED UP LIKE IN LIFE.
