odd clicking noise lf

ok kinda weird.blew lf birf and got some new longs in there now.lf only makes noise.kinda intermitant not under stress usually turning left on flat ground.pops or clicks once and nothing more ever.if i lock hubs on hard stuff or street can make it click but sounds like hub.i pulled hub off and looks ok.ft end has aussie in it,longs chromo inners,ringed longs.no aisin hubs got asco cheapy looking things on it,

this noise has never been heard under hard load.also never heard any noise till i fragged the birf.any ideas guys???thanks for any help. :gap:

So you can still hear the noise even with the hubs unlocked and in 2WD ?

no noise in 2wd.
no noise in 4wd at case and hubs unlocked.

did make noise in 2wd with hubs locked though.maybe i should see what happens if just lf is locked?..

Might have damaged the locker. Sometimes the shock from other parts blowing will do that.

yeah i thought of the locker also.it SEEMS to be working fine.its a aussie and ive head of them shearing pins off.

the noise is deffinitly at lf hub area

Well birfs that have hair line cracks in their shells can click during operation. And if the hubs are locked (2WD or 4WD) that means the birfields are turning and it could be clicking..

Can you tell if its coming from one specific side?
