just thought id let u guys know about some rattle can paint i got the other day that is the best paint out there, its the Rust-Oleum HAMMERED paint, this stuff seriously is so durable... it is not a supersmooth finish though, it is textured, it has a hammerd finish to it as the name explaines it!! i used what was left over from an old can and sprayd it on a railing outside of my shop and it gets much use and shows no were and tear at all... didnt even sand down the railing, just wiped it down with water and sprayed it on. it has a glossy finish to it but with the hammerd finish. i am rebuilding a d70 right now for my future yota and damn i love this stuff!! sticks sticks sticks!!! next best thing to powdercoat!! well just thought id let you know because i have been looking for paint like this for years and finally i found it, you can spray right over rust and other :pokinit: and it will stick for years, although i would reccomend sanding it down of course.. well later!! :beerchug:

I painted my 84 using that kind of paint a couple years ago.  I used hammerite made by plasticote.  I bought 9 cans thinking I would need more but I ended up using only 4 with some left in the 4th can!  That stuff covered awesome!  Doesnt the truck sooo cute with 33's on it. :smack:
