whats a decent welder tahts fairly cheap?? and cheap but decent tube bender help me out

how decent? what is your budget?

some people talk crap about HARBOR FREIGHT but I have seen some pretty slick stuff be built from HF benders and welders.... a lot of it is in the prepwork

my budget is as cheap as i can get it haha cut wont take a crap on me imediately and will be able to weld decent and hold

that's up to the operator.... cteng did a comparison on budget welders, and has done structural work on his truck with a HF welder. he knows what he is doing

a good operator can do amazing things with a crappy welder, that a crappy operator can't do with an amazing welder

Have cash in hand and patience, watch craigslist for a good used hobart, miller, lincoln, etc and snag a good welder for cheap  :thumbs:

I've built a bunch of stuff with my HF 110 wire feed and hydraulic pipe bender. As was said before, it's all in the prep. I don't do enough welding to make it worth the $$ to get a really good welder, so my little wire feed serves my purpose. The hydraulic pipe bender takes a bit more time to line everything up, check, double check and triple check, but when its all done, the end product is about the same.

check HF's website.  Stuff is on sale all the time.
