Addicted Offroad

1988 Toyota 4runner.

This is the cleanest solid axled 1st gen 4runner you will ever find. Its completely built with nothing left to do except potentially an interior roll cage. This is my personal vehicle. I use it as a daily driver and trail-rig. Its in incredible condition overall, and needs absolutely nothing. I would drive cross country in it without hesitation. It handles great all the way to 90mph. Specs:

3.0L. with less than 30K on it. 252K on the chassis, but you would never know it. ZERO RUST anywhere on this 4runner. ZERO!
Timing belt and both cam seals replaced 5K ago.
Its a full equipped SR5 with every available option for a 1st gen 4runner. P/W, P/L, cruise control works, A/C blows ice cold, rear heater, Altimeter/Inclinometer, Grant steering wheel, sunroof, etc.

R151 Turbo tranny
23 spline Dual cases with twin sticks and 4.7 Gears in rear case
Dual case crossmember
Front and Rear CV Driveshafts. Front is a 10" long travel shaft. Shafts are balanced and true.

85' solid front axle. 30 spline cromoly shafts, Yukon 5.29s, Solid pinion spacer, Detroit Locker, Knuckle ball gussets, axle truss. Marlin dual lip inner axle seals. Six shooter knuckles with ARP studs, Six stud arms, etc. Its as built as you can build a Toyota front axle.

88' rear V6 axle. Yukon 5.29s, Detroit Locker, Solid pinion spacer.

DOM rock sliders
Addicted Offroad DOM front bumper with SRC 8000lb winch(never even used it)
Addicted Offroad Lambo style tire carrier/rear bumper.

The front kit is a 4" solid axle kit with Bilstein 5125s
is a 5" Rear kit with 5125s.

All fabrication was done in-house at Addicted Offroad by myself personally.

Comes with four 90% tread 35x12.5x15 BFG KM2s mounted on Centerline Hellcats and the spare is brand new with matching wheel.

The interior is in incredible condition. No rips or tears in the seats. Dash pad does have some cracks, but its covered with a dash mat anyway. They are SR5 seats with the nice V6/turbo inner panels and carpeted panels. The headliner is perfect as well. No sagging.

As stated this rig will run down the road true and perfect. It rides great, handles great and wheels better.

At this point, I am wanting to trade it for a specific 3rd gen 4runner or 95-97 FZJ80. I am not in a hurry to sell it, but would for the right price. If I were to sell it outright, I will ask $10,000 firm. However, for $11,000 I will throw in a matching camping trailer with matching wheels on 31" tires. Its setup to tow anywhere as well.

Located in Windsor, CO about 45mins north of Denver

What I am looking for:
99-01 4runner. I am looking for a Black or Titanium Silver SR5 Sport Edition with the hood scoop. 5spd or A/T is fine. Would prefer an Elocker and cloth interior, but not 100% necessary. Less than 150K mileage wise. I want one without the push button 4wd and without traction control. Something like 4X4Fink's old 4runner would be ideal.

OR

1995-1997 FZJ80 with Elockers and center diff lock. Must have three rows of seats. Would honestly prefer cloth. If leather, then I want it in very good shape.

OR

I will also consider a diesel Excursion limited 4x4 or lower mileage V10

Please understand that if you vehicle isn't worth what I believe mine is, then I will ask for cash to make up the difference.

Anyway, here are some pics.

a locker differentiates wheel speed for turning. a spool locks both axleshafts together all the time

I had a cam seal leaking at 25K. since you have to tear the front end down to get there anyway, its always a good idea to replace the belt at the same time. The belt is only $30, so call it cheap insurance.

Basically, the belts are cheap enough to make sure you do it everytime you are down that far on the motor.

Great rig but I'm broke...
Plus it's too nice to go beat on; wheels are too shiny...

I need rusty crap

Nope. But, you could always check the hauling section on Pirate to see if someone is.

Ok if I find somebody I'll let you know.

Thought this rig was sold?

It is. HE was asking about the trailer, which just sold yesterday as well.
