little wire thing

I have 91 extended cab.  in the back it has a little wire coming out of the seat belt cover.  what is that??  a friend used to have an 84 and it had it in the front seat seatbelt cover

Does a little light on the pannel turn on if your driving without the seatbelts on...if it does it may just be the sensor wire :dunno: not sure though

nah, its got a female socket.  But there isnt anything in the truck that would go into it that i can find :dunno:

Its just the seatbelt light I wouldnt worry about it.

I didnt men to come across as a jerk it just happens sometimes. :greengrin:  THe rest of the wiring is under the carpet somewhere.

yup, also it should control the annoying seat belt reminder "buzzer from hell" control also. :wakos:

I found where they hide that damned little buzzer on my 90, its in the fuse box!  I had to pull the box off the kickpanel and on the back was a cover that I had to pull and then I could get the buzzer out.  It is a vibrating piece of foil basically so you'll have to bend the little disc so it cant move then its nice and quite in the cab.... Till the passenger starts screaming about rolling. :dunno:
