1986 x-cab crawler (sold)
« on: Jun 15, 2009, 06:20:32 PM »
My 1986 Toyota extra cab pick-up has been my project truck for the last two years and as much as I hate to admit it, I think it’s time to let it go.  It’s been a reliable daily driver since I have owned it, as well as an awesome trail truck, done most the trails in the Fresno area with ease.  Truck has…

•   A 22re motor with an estimated 70 thousand miles ( previous owner told me it was rebuilt approximately 60k  before I bought it, and I have put
around 10k on it) odometer reads 219,xxx
•   Manual five speed transmission, mated to marlin crawler dual ultimate transfer cases (2.28 and 4.7 gears)
•   Solid axle swap with a 1984 Toyota front axle
•   Front springs are RUF (rears up front) and rear springs are 63 inch chevys
•   Both axels are equipped with 5.29 gears and Detroit tru-track lockers.
•   Front axle has cross over steering, inch and a half wheel spacers, FJ 40 brake rotors, V6 calibers, and a semi –fresh knuckle rebuild.
•   Custom tube bed, rock sliders and front bumper
•   Pioneer CD player and cobra night watch CB radio
•   35x13.5 Toyo m/t’s mounted on 15x10 rock crawler rims

Exterior of the truck is pretty straight, the typical light dents you find on an older truck but no rock rash.  The interior however for lack of a better term… lacking.   It has a nice dash, decent seats  but that is about it, no carpet or headliner, this was my next project so I have gathered some parts, these will come with the truck.  The sunroof is cracked badly, still weather tight but not very pleasing to the eyes.  Over all this is a solid truck, its treated me well and hate to see it go.

I’m not interested in trades save for one… I will trade for a 2003 and up Suzuki SV 650 with full fairings.

If you have any questions regarding the truck, please feel free to ask.  I would be happy to answer them.

First person to offer $ 5000 takes it home!

Truck is located in Fresno CA

Hey, I work right down the street at Producers Dairy.  I live up in Coarsegold, how would it be as a driver 100 miles a day?

I drive it between fresno and modesto (about 100mi) on a semi regular basis with no problems, but to be honest I really dont know how well it would do making that drive every day.

Sorry I don't think I could manage to find time to get anywhere near Colorado, but... you could always take a vacation and come see all the beautiful sights Fresno has to offer ... and look at the truck of course haha
