Axle rebuild, im scurreddd.

Just got my front end out today. Tommarow i start digging into it to rebuild the knuckles and what not. I live on the east coast and its all covered in rust  :shudder:. Should i run for my life? i need emotional support rofl  :beer: :beer:
'99 SR5/TRD Tacoma w/5vzfe. SAS'd with 64" diamond axle (w/ long superset & ARB). about 5" of lift, 305/75 x16 BFG KM1's. Soon to come: 1.5" more lift (6.5"), 35 to 37" tire, undecided at this point., 63" F/F diamond rear, Marlin 4.7 tacobox.

its alright :therethere:  its a very simple process, just take your time, strip it down bare then wire wheel it and paint it

i felt the same way.  suck it up!   its alot of fun if you like building things.  easy if you can follow directions.

put the shims back the same way they came out unless you are changing axle housing.

i thought it would have been harder, but its not.  post up if you have problems
