84 PU Crawler, 39.5's, longs, propane...
« on: May 17, 2009, 03:06:00 PM »
84 Toyota Rock Crawler

$5000 OBO or trade for CRF450 or something similar

Selling my 84:
-All-Pro 5" springs with one leaf removed from rear to soften them up
-greasable shackles front and rear
-U-bolt flip kit front and rear
-5100 Billstiens front and rear
-shock hoops
-extended stainless brake lines
-All Pro high-Steer
-Hydro assist(Red neck ram) with drilled pump
-custom front diff guard/hydro assist mount, it's solid
-4.88 Yukons in the rear from Randy's R&P
-spooled front/rear
-1.5" wheel spacers rear
-2" spacers front
-power steering conversion, was manual steering when I bought the truck
-reinforced frame around steering box
-PROPANE conversion from GotPropane w/ 23 gallon tank
-4.7 marlin t-case
-new clutch
-new slave cylinders on rear brakes
-All-Pro flatbed kit
-Marlin tall front stinger
-8000 warn winch
-hawse fairlead
-light tabs with rectangular lights beside winch
-39.5" Iroks
-fenders have been trimmed to fit the tires, stuff nicely without rubbing or bumpstops
-Longfield 30 spline chromoloys
-Axle was rebuilt when 30's went in about a year ago, all seals and bearings were replaced except for the wheel bearings.
-seats out of a corolla or something but are a little weathered
-waterproof stereo and speakers, needs some TLC, clean the buttons
-new radiator and all hoses, replaced about a year ago
-.120 wall driveshafts front and rear
-Schaffers tube doors
Whats wrong:
-has been rolled and broke the windshield out, the roof is pretty close to where it's supposed to be. As far as mechanically, the truck, starts and runs fine but IT NEEDS A NEW SLAVE CYLINDER. No smoke and doesn't burn oil.

Nothing but the best of parts were put into this truck and it'll go anywhere the buggies will go. Almost everything was installed by an offroad shop in Lufkin, TX, www.dynamictx.com. It's been built for about three years. Asking $5000 obo, located in East Texas.

Thanks, I have no idea what those are (yet) but I'll poke around on search. I know about locking hubs and the IFS hubs but... flanges? I'm probably thinking about something different.

No big deal, instead of having hubs that you can lock and unlock, they permanently lock the shaft to the hub, causing the front axle to always be locked in.
