Best 37" tire?

I decieded that the 38.5" TSL/SX tires would be a little to big for rock crawling. Now i just need some help decieding what would be the best. right now i am running the 33" TSL/SX and they had way more traction then the 35" bfg and pro comp muds. I haven't wheeled with any body who has mt/r's but i have heard they are like a slick in the mud.

My 37" boggers are pretty good on the rocks at about 4psi, and really good in the mud, as far as rocks go, I can't really say I've been in a position where I thought they cost me from making any obstacle, although people trash boggers, I like them

I agree with you psycho,boggers are the shiiaat.I love mine(4th set)but a lot of people say they suck on rocks(haters I guess)and I've had mine on rocks plenty of times.

Although not listed as a 37, Id pick the 38x12.5" tsl sx.  I have a set of 38x12.5 tsl's and I love them for everything and I can only think that the sx would be even better in ruts and having a thicker sidewall never killed anyone.

if you ask me, I dont think 38's would be too big. me and InfernalJeep both run 40 inch boggers and we take our rigs in in the rocks/mud/sand/trails and they work prfect. so in my opinion,I would either go 38 inch boggers or like WT said, the 38 tsl sx.

Ive heard that MT/R are good on all xept for like thick mud, but if ure a trailer rigger or a rich  then id go with boggers, said to be good on just about everything

you dont gotta be a rich a$$, I paid $450 for six 40 inch boggers that still have 90% tread on 'em.you just gotta look in the right places.

I have 37" MTR and my rig is a daily driver. They ve worked great offroad and aren't as noisy on road as I thought they would be. Don't know how they do in the mud, I'd rather be Crawlin!

the only reason i didn't consider the boggers cause this will be my daily driver and offroader just about every other weekend. And I am looking for a tire that is good in everything or real close. my fav would be the TSL/SX but wouldn't be better to get the 38.5"x14.5xR15 to get better stability than with the 38x12.5"

I havent had any real issues with stability on my 12.5's.  Funny thing is I have been running them on 7" wheels for about a year now too.  When I was wheeling on them all the time I ran them on 8's and they were fine.

I did for 4 years.  If you pay attention to your alignment and tire pressure and never forget to rotate them they will last for a LONG time.  Ive got just over 30 k on mine and they still have about 3/16" over the wear bars.

MT/R's are good on everything but mud and wet rocks.  For some reason they don't like to grip wet rocks.

Sipe em for the wet rocks & they work better, but they will chunk out easier on the dry stuff.

I love my MT/R's except for the constant barking when on slick rocks and going around corners on the street. I've never really tested them in thick/sticky mud but they seem to do better than my old BFG's in all area's other than wear. They do wear better than Interco's though on daily driver.

please do. cause where i wheel you have to hit the mud or you are considered a pansy there is a lot of rocks but not to many people like them for some reason

NO not myself but I have ridden on rigs with em...and I do say they cake up pretty fast...faster than my cheap o depo tires

Ive ran the 14.5's too.  They are a great tire but they are really heavy so they will sap mucho power to push down the road.

Not really, gears only give better accelleration, but if thats what ure lookin for then yes, they will, but if u want more raw power, u need upgrades

also if you really think about it there wouldn't be much more weight added. and today i was checking out some of the stuff at lc engeneering and holy crap 5,800 bucks for a 22re long block with 200+ hp

I want the header and the super charger and the turbo and the $1300 head and long block not to much only like 7 g's

if you have 7 g's to spend on engine it be better to go with an Aluminum big block the Ram Jet 502...kicks some

why can't everything be free But i will most liky buy their header and camshaft kit with new rockers.
