My SR5 4Runner was stolen between 11pm 5/12/09 and 6:15am 5/13/09 on the corner of Tynebourne St and Bonfair Ave near Arco Arena on the west side of I-5.
It has fog lights on the stock bumper a cb antenna on the passenger rear side and a loud thrush exhaust that sounds like a flowmaster. It sags bad in the rear. and has a small marlin crawler sticker above the 4ruuner emblem on the rear hatch and a "Woo Hoo" sticker on the passenger side of the rear smittybuitl bumper. 30 inch BFG AT's on stock wheels and the front lisence plate hangs angled on the front by one bolt.

Lisence plate #1SUF133

Dents on front left corner of fender, line dents along right rear side corner. Oxidized silver paint on hood but the origional silver paint on the sides.

its just a stock 4runner but it is my most valuble posession

Thanks guys. Im actgually gonna try and call Caltrans and see if theyll let me watch footage of the only 3 intersections they could get out of my area through. We'll see what happens

The Cops Found My Truck!!!!

I got a call tonight about 7:30 from the Sac county police saying they found my truck. They told me the street it was on which is actually behind my apartment complex.

Who the hell did it? I dont know, but everything was still in it, and I had a lot of my valubles in there and there was no damage done at all.
Im thinking some drunk dumb idiot took it and didnt like it

who doesnt like toyotas!!
The thing though is that i looked on that street the day it went missing and it wasnt there. But today it was and it was parked in a red zone and thats the only reason it was called in.

So I got extremely lucky and now I am gonna do anything I can to make sure this doesnt happen again. Thanks everybody for keeping an eye out

I still dont get why that everything was pulled out of the glove box and center console but none of it was taken.

I had knives, CD's, 2 CD palyers, CB, Multimeter, 5 sets of lights, School books, Copies of my parents tax forms(!!!!), tools, Hi-Lift, Fishing tackle and pole, and random parts.

Why?

sounds like someone might have used it as a ride for a few days.
and might live around there.
or wanted you to find it, a thoughtfull joyride

when I was a kid we had a car stolen from a livestock auction and when the cops finally arrived
they found it on the other side of the parking lot on empty.
I remember the mag light was still on the floorboard
who knows what others are thinking

Back when I was in school, most people who stole rigs, was to just joy ride until the tank was empty. And most of the time, they would bring it back. Usually with a empty tank, some mysterious

stains on the seat, a noisy motor/slipping clutch and maybe a little body damage.

When my Mother-in-law had my 88 Camry in AZ. it was taken twice in a few months time. It was found both times a block or two away with absolutely nothing done to it. Figure kids joyriding took it, I put a kill switch in it at that point and though it did get broke into one more time it never was taken again. I'd make sure to do something to disable it since the thief is local to you and now has a quick and easy ride if he needs it.
