Well i was in first period today and they called me up to the office. I got there and he was like, you got ure keys? I was trying to figure out what I did :dunno: i get out there and theres this leak all over the pavement... it seems as if my rear add-a-leaf popped out and ruptured my gas tank. It slowly rubbed a gash in there, and now it leaks. Not profusely, but still, it leaks.  :smack: The only thing that I can think of doing for now till the weekend is JBWeld the mofo on. Once the weekend comes though, i think imma  :_order: :_order: and then get to  :flamer: Just wondering if you guys think that will hold for a day or 2

Don't  :flamer: on a gas tank unless you REALY know what your doing. I've done it a few times butt its not a "learning" expeance.  napa sales a gas tank hole kit. comes with some wax, and a bit of fiber glass and resson. you plug the hole with the wax than cover it with fiberglass! it works! but it mite take a time ot two to get it right! READ HOW IT SAYS TO DO IT! (on the box)
A good day working, that's just sick :reg:

WHITE_TRASH

Just follow brainless's example and use a oxy acetaline torch to weld it.  Also make sure the tank only has about 1/8th tank in it. :smack:

more like 1/20th a tank of gas. then heat the tank by useing a hot plate held to the bottom of the tank for about 15 mints. then put some ox. inj the tank out of the oxy/acetaline tanks. THEN start to  :flamer:   :gap:  :hahaha:

also, wondering if JBWeld is good if i let sit for 12 or so hours with a light on it, so the heat will help, with no gas in the tank (is gasoline like a deterrent of bonds??). Should it be fine for me to drive to school or should i let it sit for another 7 hours?

once the leak stops totaly clean the area with brake cleaner to remove all the nasty crap thats on the tank and sand the area down to bare metal.  Mix the jb hot and go for it.  Id just leave it from then on.

the big deal is that the gas isnt the issue. its the fumes. the fumes will catch your ass on fire and if u live its gonna be hell. hell u could throw a match in a bucket of gasoline and nothing would happen. throw a match at the base of the gasoline and there will be a fire. the fumes flow out and go down
