We'll be wait n dude!
The day I bought  it back( I sold it in Dallas, TX in 1996, and I bought it back in Minniapois in 2007 and drove it home to Austin)

first time out:

new rear springs and some tube work:

I am building it now for expedition stuff. It's having some work done to the head at the moment, and I can't wait to get it back!

Wow I love that color combo! Clean 4runner, looks good. My buddy in high school had a 4runner with that exact paint scheme, and it was the 4runner that made me decide to get one.

Wow I love that color combo! Clean 4runner, looks good. My buddy in high school had a 4runner with that exact paint scheme, and it was the 4runner that made me decide to get one.
When I first owned it, it was just a an older funky colored stock 4runner, but when I bought it back, the gold color made it that much more nostalgic. I found it on yotatech by accident, and when I realized it was mine, we made a deal and I brought it back to TX. Best money I ever spent.
All of the 4runners on here, EP, and YT are giving me great ideas of what I need to do next. When I first bought it, I went out on some 'Krawlin' trips, but I soon realized that it was built enough to get me into places that I didn't want to be in (like on my side), so I decided I wanted to have calculated fun, and keep it somewhat clean.
I will refer back to this thread and all of your runners when I need some inspiration.

Thats awesome. My buddy unfortunately rolled his and his parts went to live on in all our rigs. Ever since, I have only ever seen one other 4runner with that color in person. Definitely unique.

There are a few on the other boards that have popped up, and we all "know" each other via the internet. One guy is back in Minniapolis and knows the previous owner of my truck and knew my truck through the local club. It's a small world when you live in the Toyataverse. :)
