Pumpkin, I have laid thise fenders on plenty, you would be suprised at how strong they are, plus if they crack just glass um; back up. Alot easier then metal work. Imagine a hammer to a steel fender, big dent. A hammer to a glass fender ussually means small chip.

Night Krawler- Yea we were loaded, My son and I drove that truck 2500 miles on a 2 week vacation from Merced/Tahoe/Moab/Colorado/Sand Mtn/Rubicon, it was the best time of my life.
yeah thats true. My dad had a glass tub on his FJ40 and I was amazed at how much the glass just flexed on rocks and didnt break.
Sounds like a hell of a road trip man!

Sounds like a fun road trip to mee!!! YA and donny cracked that FJ40 tub up by the front fender big time. Metal would of been a pain in the ass to fix it cause it was a tree he hit. Being fiberglass he just had it fixed up and painted and good as new man!!

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

When I saw Back to the Future as a kid I began an obsession with yotas, everytime i pull out of my driveway I think "damn, Im the luckiest guy to have such a sweet truck". I didnt know what a 22re was when I was a kid, didnt need to know. But the more i got my hands dirty the more i learned that its not just about having the best, its about knowing whats best, TOYOTA, turn key badass mutha f*cka everytime. I wouldnt trade my yota for anything. Im hooked for life.

notice the roof :shocking: It had a custom roll kit, bought it for $800 off clist, drove it home 6 hours to dfw :disturbed:

Thanks! It is just wood, 3/4" plywood for the subs and cheap panel board for the rest. It was easy but slow, pics are not doing justice Been installing a few parts lately, its so addicting! She has come a long way, but far to go.
All Im lacking is a flux capacitor and the ability to hit 88.

mat305

wow, some n ice lookin rigs here...

Nothing crazy, just my wifes school commuter, 85 efi, 125,000 original miles, bought it from the original owner.  Super clean and bone stock, except for the Canback i put on it.  It may get some "mild" work done to it and become a family camping/exploring/light wheeling rig someday, when my other projects are done.  Literally just went and took the picture about 3 minutes ago, first snow we've gotten at my house this year, cant wait for some actual snow, and snow wheeling!!!

Yep, been snowing up in the high (higher) elevations for the past couple weeks, nothing significant just dustings over night or in the early mornings and melting off each day by the afternoon.  Today was the first that has actually hit me.  I'm up in the Rockies in the middle of Colorado, my front porch is just a hair under 9,000 ft elevation.  Everything out my back door that is above the tree line got it pretty good today, probably enough to stick around for at least a couple days.
