I went to the one here in Tucson...I spent about 2 1/2 hours there. Considering it was held during working hours in the middle of the week, I was thrilled to see a steady crowd of about 2000. As some left more would come, so it was a nice steady crowd. Also, it was one of the most polite protests I've ever seen (especially considering Napolitano had just labeled us "Right Wing Extremists"  ). I was thrilled to see the age range of the attendees...from infants to what looked like WWII vets. I was disappointed, but not surprised, that my Congressional Rep wasn't there...even though she was in town. I hope these events were the opening salvo in a revolution that will eventually result in a renaissance of freedom and personal involvement in our governance.

I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.

RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

If I would have known I was going to be sitting for 2 days in Ripon I'd have dropped the trailer and headed to sacramanto and attended that rally.  I hope this is a sign of things to come.

You know the left doesn't know what to think when you have rick maddow and keith ogerman doing nothing but talking :pokinit: about the teabaggers, labeling attendee's as extremists and saying its a republican event... Sorry morons it is a AMERICAN movement, non partisan to the core.  Yes the right is behind it but no one is being turned away no matter what affiliation they have.

We had a good one here in PS, and as always since this is a very and I mean very boarding on extreme liberal area it ended up on the streets downtown with signs and whistles, long hair hippies and gays. The proof is in the mix and size that even in the extreme left it is a growing movement.

Of course they still hate me on the right. :gap:

At the Tucson TEA Party...the cross section ran the gamut, old hippie lookin' people to 3pc. suits to mommies pushin' a stroller full of chi'rens.

Why would the right hate you?  :dunno:

Maybe he's not "right" enough? Maybe too "right"? or maybe he's just plain old "wrong". Who knows? Who cares? so why bother?

Just kidding....
