Topic: crossover steering alignment

I have a 94 ext cab with s.a.s./crossover steering with hysteer.Whats the best procedure for alignment?

first get a friend to help hold the tape measure,   measure the front of the tires from outside to outside,you know behind the bumper ,just below the spring   left to right,  then measure the back in the same place on the tread, on 30+ inch tires its easy to get things damn close,    if the measurements are different,  loosen the lock nut on each end of the tierod, and use a pipewrench to rotate it to make your measurements right again   
lets say the front measurement is 68 3/4 inches  and the back is 69 1/4 inches,   you would want to make your tierod longer, i'm thinking 2 turns,  but make a turn then measure again
