Please help RCRC.. (read this!)
« on: Jul 05, 2002, 04:56:53 AM »
Interested in $100 from high angle driveline, mounts from rockstomper, fab work, gas can, maglite, and a ton of other goodies? Read on..

RCRC is a sacramento based cal4wheel club. In the past month we have donated over $450 to Blue Ribbon Coalition, and helped out FTOR with the recent trail repairs and other work to keep the Rubicon Trail open. In the past we have helped the Forest Service patrol during winter, and our web site has been a driving force in getting the word out for public land issue meetings such as the local BLM land and other issues and events.

We are trying to move our web site to a different server, unfortunately that costs $$ We have started a fund raiser with raffle prizes such as a $100 high angle driveline, tool box bbq, maglite, and much more (with many raffle prizes to come at the day of the raffle). Raffle will be held at our monthly meeting at the end of the month. Please pitch in by buying atleast one ticket or contributing to the raffle with prizes to gain more interest and therefore sell more tickets..

If more money is made than the site fees it will go to a good cause such as the El Dorado legal fund, BRC, Tread Lightly, FTOR, etc..

The list of prizes is growing every day!

Stuff from

RockStomper
TLCA
Pacific Mountain Cruisers
http://www.toolboxgrill.com/
Hi Angle Driveline
calrocs

and tons of stuff donated from individuals (nice heavy duty gas can, tube bending time, mag lite, etc..)

Only about $150 in tickets so far on hundreds of dollars of prizes. Get a ticket, your chances to get your $5 worth are EXCELLENT!

Is RCRC a registered charity in the state of California? There are laws you have to abide by when accepting donations and you have to be registered.  And there are more rules and permission needed by the state to do raffles.  Better check the California Attourney General's website on all of this to be safe. Just FYI.
Good luck.

That would suck...

Sheez, I run a website that I am trying to fund - all of the prizes were donated. Not like I am trying to make money or anything...

Unfortunately we don't have a checking account so you can either paypal me or make a check to any member of the club or to cash.

Thanks!
