heres my new truck i got for free! it didnt run when i showed up. i had to hook up 1 wire to the positive terminal and it fired right up. drove it around and its cherry! im pretty sure the motor is a l20 from the older truck and its not fast but its free and cool

i wish it was the older style! but this a great truck for free! im gonna get it insured in a few months and make it a dd so i dont but so much wear on the 86 when its gets built up. o the best part is this truck passed smog 3 months ago

yup, that motor's definitely an L20B.  cool little engines but non crossflow :smack:

i wouldn't mind finding a 520 or 620 and either turning it into a rally truck or swapping toy axles under it and jacking it up :thumbs:

I wonder how far up the pit hill we could get that thing before it rolled Crash? With a good running start we might do quite well, don't you think? We could have a contest at the clean up. :laugh: :teeth:

That picture is bad, it looks like I am staring directly at Max's nuts.  (the guy with the flip flops and jeans.)  and BTW the flips flops and jeans doesn't mean he's gay, for him it's a way of saying he's "bad ass" cuz hes going to wear em all year.

Really? I thought all the mid 80's were called the "Hardbody", like Toyota called the "Hilux"

86 1/2 was the body style change.  Before that they were called a 720.  And before that a 620.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

nope, his truck is a 720.  nissan really mixed things up in the '80s, there was one kind of 720 style(id like to say from 80-84?) then i think an '84-86 version of it, and the hardbody overlapping in '86 or something wierd like that

before the "hardbody"(mid 80s-mid 90s style), there were mainly 520s, 620s and 720s.  they seem to mainly have the same front end as their "10" cars, so a 520 was basically a truck with a 510 front clip.  never saw too many 710s, especially from the 80s here in the US, so i don't know how to compare that truck to anything.  i believe the 810 is a maxima?

The body style was the same minus the tailights from 80-86.  In 83 they put the tialights in the bed corners before that they were in the roll pan.
